Well, Newsweek is not known for necessarily being an unbiased font of things political. Having said that, the poll that I think is even more telling are the several that have come out in recent months that show the congress to have even less of an approval rating than Bush.


No one's scoring very well, but, let's face it, Bush is sinking like a stone whether one approves of him or not. He doesn't seem to be able to articulate a coherent strategy, his staff changes have been met with yawns, and things seem to keep getting worse on all fronts.

This isn't a Rep or Dem issue--I think it comes down to someone who just never learned what it means to be president--on both the international and domestic fronts.

Add to that the complete disarray in the Republican Congress and the lack of leadership among the Democrats and, Houston, we have a problem.
